GemsJDR is a private gemstone sourcing office based in Thailand — the world's most important trading hub for colored precious stones. Operating from Bangkok, with weekly presence in Chanthaburi, we sit at the intersection of the corridors that connect Sri Lanka, Madagascar, Vietnam, Pakistan and East Africa.
We are not a dealer. We do not maintain inventory. We are a service that receives a jeweler's brief and, through a decade of relationships, finds the exact stone that answers it.

Personal inspection
Every stone is evaluated in person, under the loupe, before it is proposed. We do not resell photographs.
Transparency
Honest notes about color behavior, cut, inclusions, and provenance. What we see is what we tell you.
Confidentiality
Client identities and mandates are private. We work with maisons and independent jewelers under the same protocol.
Long-term relationships
We are here for the second, fifth and twentieth commission — not the first-time transaction.
